Mother's Day Weekend!!

For Mother's Day this year, one of my oldest friends, Erin, and I went to Portland, OR. We flew out on Friday, May 11 and immediately went to dinner at a place called Salty's. It was super yummy and was right on the Columbia river. We had the best dinner that we paired nicely with a great bottle of wine. That night, we stayed at a beautiful hotel in downtown Portland. Saturday morning we got up, went for a walk to the Farmer's Market, had breakfast at the famous Voodoo donuts, then went on a city historical tour; which was very interesting. Saturday night, we drove to Astoria, OR and stopped at a winery along the way. The drive was absolutely beautiful and serene. We walked along the beach and went to Haystack Rock where the movie "Goonies" was filmed. Sunday, we drove back to Portland, OR and went on a foodie tour. We went to 6 different places and tasted a whole bunch of different foods. We stayed in three different hotels that were all very cute in their own way. We flew home Monday morning and can't wait to do it again next year.

It's Baseball Season!!

Parker started his first season of baseball playing for the rival team of our "home" high school. We put him in a league so he could play with a friend and they ended up not being on the same team. He learned a lot of great skills, had awesome coaches, and became a pretty great ball player. He continued playing for another league throughout the summer and will hopefully play with his same spring team in the fall.

Mom and Parker go to TSS!!

The last week of April, Parker and mom took a class trip to Kelly, WY for a week to stay in cabins and hike with the UE class of our school. We had a great time, ate really good food, saw a lot of wild life, hiked a lot, and got really tired. Parker and mom were able to be in the same field group so they got to spend lots of time together taking selfies.

Cooper is 9!!

Our handsome, intelligent, witty, sneaky, mischievous, girl loving little boy turned 9 years old on April 20, 2018. This kid is such a riot sometimes!! He can make you crack up when you've had the worst day. He doesn't like very many foods and is quite picky. He loves hamburgers, but only if they're fast food. He loves steak, but only if it's Texas Roadhouse. Some of his other food likes are: PB and grape jelly, Kraft mac & cheese, lots of cereal, and Top Ramen. He loves to be "sporty" and only dress in jogging/running pants and work out shirts. He is excited to start soccer in the fall. Absolutely loves his big brother and Gigi and would do anything for them. Loves to be the center of attention and make people laugh. This kid has also written some pretty funny grammar sentences while in Ms.Hope's class!! For his birthday dinner, we went to Lucy's Pizza with Papa & Nana and Sarah & Jason.

Matt turns 44!!

Matt turned 44 on April 12. I surprised him with a small get together in Salt Lake City, Utah with some of his long time friends (Jeff & Deann, Jamie & Julie, Jen, Josh, Madison, and Maryann & Russ). We stayed at a hotel in Sandy Friday and Saturday night after they all surprised him for dinner at Hoppers. Saturday, we went to the Sugar House Distillery then went paint balling. That night we all went to see a live show of "Impractical Jokers". We had the best time and have the best friends. .

Easter 2018

We spent the day hunting for Easter eggs, then we went over to Neil and Kim Stewart's house for an Easter dinner.
