Annual Idaho/Utah Friends "Get Together" July 31-August 2!!

Covid didn't stop this group of friends from having their annual summer get together! Jamie & Julie, Jen, and Jeff & Deann (no Maryann & Russ this year) all came up for the weekend. Even though we couldn't do much or go out, we made the best of it and enjoyed the great life long friendships that we share. We played games, ate a lot, and shared fun memories. That weekend, we also decided to add a new member to our family. He is a Mountain Bernese, is super lovable, and his name is Finn. He's been a great dog so far and was potty trained pretty quickly. He rarely barks unless someone comes in the house or the yard. We are all so in love with him.

 

Summer Paddle Boarding 2020!

Paddle boarding has become one of my most favorite forms of exercise for the last few years. I wanted to desperately share my love of it with my kids. We went out to the lake for a few hours and ending up coming home early because they decided that they didn't love it as much as I do. Cooper and Scotlyn were sure that they did not want to do it again. Parker was willing to try it with me the next time I went out. 
 

Covid Trip to Salt Lake City!

 We were going little stir crazy being at home, so Matt and I took the boys to Park City for the weekend and then to a car show in Salt Lake City. We went to Olympic Park where the boys rode a tubing hill, a zip line, an alpine slide, and did a ropes course. Even though we were all outside, we all had to wear masks the whole time. It was really hot and none of the hotels could open their pools because of the pandemic. We still made the best of it and had a great time.

4th of July 2020!

4th of July was a little quiet this year! Because of Covid, all celebrations around Idaho Falls were cancelled. We spent a quiet day at home and went to Russel & Michele's house for a BBQ and fireworks for the evening and night. It ended up still being great day and we enjoyed being together as a family.
