End of the Year Shananigans!!

The last two months of the year flew by so fast, but were filled with a few trips to celebrate the holidays. For Thanksgiving, we drove mom's new Honda Accord to Elko, NV to spend it with family. It was also Finn's first car trip! Then for Christmas, Scotlyn came home for about a month and we took a family trip to Salt Lake City and stayed at Little America. We went to a Jazz game, the Living Planet Aquarium, and Thanksgiving Point (Luminaria) and saw the Christmas light show. It was a wonderful 3 days of being together as a family. Karsen, Scotlyn's boyfriend, also went.

Matt had to work Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, but we still made the best of it. The boys and I had a nice fancy pasta dinner and watched Christmas movies. On 12/27, we flew to AZ for the week to enjoy some sun. However, it was cold and rained. We still had a great time racing go karts, going to the Fiesta Bowl, visiting a winery and distillery, and swimming every day. Michele and Russell rented a really nice Air BnB for us to all stay in. It was the perfect end to a wonderful year!!!

Fun in Las Vegas!

Debbie and I met Maryann in Las Vegas and went to a Dierks Bently concert. We also went to see the Beatles "Love" show. We stayed at the Paris, ate a lot of great food, and had a wonderful time!

Michele's B-Day

Michele and I went to SL and a Jazz game for her bday on October 11. We stayed at The Grand America, ate at The Melting Pot, and had a wonderful couple of days celebrating her. The last picture is us at KW Trunk or Treat.

End of the Summer Happenings!!

Finn enjoyed going for car rides and the dog park. No matter how much area there is, he always manages to find the small little pool of water and lie in it!!

Our girl also turned 18!!! We could not be with her on her special day, but we had some friends help us to make it extra special. They went over and beyond and decorated her apartment and car. I also sent her cookies, and had friends deliver her Pasta Factory. She had a wonderful day!

1st Day of School for the Boys!!

Parker and Cooper both started Eagle Rock Junior High School this year! Parker is in 8th grade and Cooper is in 7th grade. They both are excited to be in the same school again. Cooper started playing football for the Skyline Grid Kid team and made a lot of new friends before school started. Cheers to a great school year!
