Scotlyn's First Cross Country Race...

!st race of the season! 8/28/15 - She did great!! She ran a mile and half around Community Park in 19 minutes. She felt a little sick afterward, but we were so proud of her and how great she did.

Scotlyn turns 12!!!!

On August 27, 2015, our little Miss Scotlyn Arline turned a big 12!!! Nana & Papa were out of town camping with the boys, and Matt was in Alaska, so, Scotlyn and I spent the day shopping. It started out with us going to Ulta and having someone teach her how to use make-up. We then went to JC Penny's and bought some running clothes for cross country. She ended up the day with 3 new pairs of shoes, 4 new sport bras, 2 new sets of running clothes, and a whole set of new make-up. For dinner, she invited her friend Zoe, and we went to eat at a Japanese restaurant named Fugi. They cook hibachi style meals. The girls loved it!!

The first picture is of Matt recently. We flew to Minneapolis and drive down to the farm for a couple days. Matt wasted no time getting on the mower! The second picture was found by Matt's grandma and is of our first trip to the farm in 2001. We flew in this Cessna 172 for 12 hours to get there.

Matt started a new job at Ball Ventures in May and his co-pilot is Brett Carter. He, Brett, and Malanie all went to high school together. We now get to see them a lot more and do lots of fun things together. We went to a concert, did a couple 5ks, and flew to Kansas and Minneapolis.

Playing in Big Sky, Montana!!

We drove to Bozeman, MT for a night and went to a great museum!! The next day we played in Big Sky. We all had a great time. It was only a 3 hour drive. The C'Mon Inn was a great place to stay.
