Matt and I took the kids to Hill Air Force Base museum and Golden Spike Historical site for Memorial weekend. It was a nice quick family getaway. We met up with the Bennetts at Boondocks for a night of arcade games, go karts, bumper boats, and pizza. Our boys love to play together. We all had a great time.

The first week of May, we went to the Bahamas with Brett and Malanie Carter. Brett and Matt had a trip to Marsh Harbor, Abaco in the Bahamas and we were able to tag along. We stayed in Treasure Cay for 6 nights and were there for 7 days. We snorkeled, went on a boat ride, fed stingrays, fed sharks, fed pigs, kayaked, and had a wonderful time relaxing and enjoying each other's company. The weather was very nice and warm. We had a huge rain storm while we were there and that cooled everything off quite a bit so it wasn't as humid. The food was very expensive so we bought groceries and ate bean and cheese burritos in our condos while playing cards with the Carters. The back door of our condo looked out to a marina. The beach was only a 5 minute walk and the sand was so white and fine. We found lots of beautiful seashells, conch shells, and sea biscuits. I was able to try a conch fritter sandwich which was a bit chewy and had the texture of squid. It makes your job so much better when you get to work and travel with friends!!
