End of the Summer Happenings!!

Finn enjoyed going for car rides and the dog park. No matter how much area there is, he always manages to find the small little pool of water and lie in it!! 

Our girl also turned 18!!! We could not be with her on her special day, but we had some friends help us to make it extra special. They went over and beyond and decorated her apartment and car. I also sent her cookies, and had friends deliver her Pasta Factory. She had a wonderful day!

 

1st Day of School for the Boys!!

Parker and Cooper both started Eagle Rock Junior High School this year! Parker is in 8th grade and Cooper is in 7th grade. They both are excited to be in the same school again. Cooper started playing football for the Skyline Grid Kid team and made a lot of new friends before school started. Cheers to a great school year!

 

Taking Our Girl to College!!!

Scotlyn decided to attend Dixie State College in St. George, Utah. Sarah & Georgia, Parker & I went down with her for a week to get her moved into her apartment (Matt had to work and Cooper had football). She is living at "The Stay" right across from the campus and doesn't have to walk far at all. She has a roommate and 2 other girls in the apartment. We stayed at Royce's for the week and had a lot of fun swimming and playing. We also did a lot of shopping and eating!! We were sad to leave her and will miss her, but know she is going to do great things in life!!!! Cheers to her 1st year of college!!

 

Last Family Trip before Scotlyn Leaves for College...

We decided to do a small road trip before we took our girl to college. We went to the Shoshone Ice Caves; which were small, but interesting and cold (see the thermometer in one of the pictures)! Then we stayed in Hailey for the night and spent the day in Sun Valley. It was a quick two day, overnight trip, but we enjoyed our family time together.

 

End of Summer Senior Friends Get Together!!

 

Me and Scotlyn and her senior friends and moms (Addi & Kris, Ashlynn & Lisa, and Taegann & Tessa) made plans to pick fresh flowers and then went out to dinner as a final send off to our girls before they  went away to college. This was the last time that they were all going to be together. It was a nice evening and we enjoyed the company shared among friends.
