Thanksgiving this year was able to be celebrated with Scotlyn, Nana, Papa, Auntie Sarah, and Georgia. We made pumpkin cinnamon rolls, pumpkin bread pudding, pumpkin pie, and chocolate pie along with all the wonderful Thanksgiving foods. We also swam in the snow, went Black Friday shopping, and went to the Museum of Idaho. We played a lot of fun games and built gingerbread houses. It was nice to be able to spend time together as a family.

Cooper was invited to join the National Junior Honor Society. We are so proud of him and how hard he works in class. He has kept really good grades all through 7th & 8th grade. All his teachers say he is so helpful and tries really hard.
Maryann & Mr. Baker Visit IF!!
Maryann and her friend, Baker, drove up over Labor Day weekend to float Big Springs. We also took a scenic boat ride on the Snake River, and went to the Museum of Idaho. We had a wonderful weekend playing tourists.
Jackson Hole Winery
On a beautiful Sunday before the winter weather came, Matt, Debbie, Jerry, Staci, and I took a little road trip over to Jackson to their local winery. We tasted some wonderful wines, enjoyed the beautiful weather, spent some quality time with great friends, and walked around the Jackson square.
9/11 Banquet
I am the event coordinator for a local non-profit, Heroes Defense. This was my 2nd year doing the event raising $150k last year and $100k this year. With the money raised, we were able to help our 1st responders purchase needed items beyond what our tax dollars could do. The flag in the above picture was flown over Ground Zero during the clean up after 9/11. This was the last time it was going to be shown before going into the museum. One of the speakers had the task of keeping it secure.
