Scotlyn's Bday and 1st Day of School!

On Tuesday, August 27, Scotlyn not only had her 1st day of school, she also celebrated her 16th birthday!! She started her junior year of high school as a varsity cheerleader for Skyline High School. For her birthday, I made her crepes for breakfast, and she got a speaker and an Apple watch for her presents. She was also very excited because she can now drive at night without any adult supervision.

Matt's 1st day of RN School - 8/19/2019

Matt had his 1st day of the Registered Nursing program at CEI on August 19. It's a 2 year program, and he'll graduate in 2021.

Random Summer Activities!!

We took a family drive to Jackson for the day and stopped to visit the fish hatchery. It was very interesting to see all the trout that they breed. The next week, we drove to Carter's cabin for a few days and Nic took the boys out on a wave runner. We were following in a boat and saw them crash and fall in the water. It was a little chilly, but they loved it!!

More visitors!! 7/31-8/4/2019

Aunt Billie, Robert, Alicia, Olivia, Sarah, Georgia, and Mom were all able to come visit the first week of August. We went to the zoo (it happened to be senior citizen day so Billie got in free), saw the Lion King movie, went to Bear World, had dinner at Mountain River Ranch dinner theater, went to Rexburg Rapids, and went to the aquarium. Parker happened to get his finger slammed in the bedroom door so we also had to make a trip to the doctor for some stitches.
